Bertillonage is a process, named after Alphonse Bertillon, used to identify criminals. This process consists of the recording of a criminal's physical appearance such as their limb measurements, body markings, and pictures. I think this process would be a very useful backup plan for our current processes of fingerprinting and blood tests. Because people can cheat around fingerprinting, the Bertillonage process would be effective in recognizing body markings and appearances. Therefore, I think that the Bertillonage process should still be used today.
